1. Scope and introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Tattoo Lion's Studio ("Lion Studio", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit our website, send a consultation request, communicate with our team, or receive tattoo services at our Dallas, Texas studio.

We do not claim an LLC or registered corporate name on this page. Where a legal entity name is required, the business operates publicly as Tattoo Lion's Studio / Lion Studio, and the contact and business details saved in our studio settings control.

By using this website or submitting a consultation request, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not submit information through the website; you may contact us directly instead.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to answer your request and run appointments responsibly:

  • Identity and contact details: name, email address, phone number, and Instagram or other social handle when you provide it.
  • Appointment details: your tattoo idea, placement, size and style, requested or assigned artist, preferred dates and times, session status and history.
  • Client notes you choose to send us, including anything you type into the notes field of the booking form.
  • Reference photos and files you upload so the artist can understand the piece you want.
  • Communication history: emails, messages and call notes related to your request or appointment.
  • Deposit and payment records: amount, method label, date and status. Full card numbers are not stored by us — if and when online payment is used, card data is handled by the payment provider.
  • Technical data: device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and security or error logs generated automatically.

3. Sensitive information — please be careful

Do not upload government IDs, medical records, insurance cards, financial documents or other unnecessary sensitive information through the general booking form. It is not the right place for those documents.

Health, allergy and consent information collected in person before a procedure is used only for safety, professional judgment and legal compliance, and is kept with your studio records.

4. How we use information

  • Review consultation requests and reply to you.
  • Assign the right artist and coordinate the design.
  • Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments.
  • Send confirmations and reminders by email.
  • Manage deposits, invoices and internal accounting.
  • Provide customer support and resolve disputes.
  • Prevent fraud, spam and abuse, and keep our systems secure.
  • Comply with legal, tax and professional obligations.
  • Understand and improve how the website works.
  • Send marketing or promotional messages only if you have consented, with an opt-out in every message.

5. Why we are allowed to use it

We are a Texas-based tattoo studio. We use your information because it is necessary to respond to a request you made, to perform services you asked for, to keep required business and safety records, to protect the studio and its clients, or because you gave us permission (for example, marketing).

This Policy is written for U.S. and Texas practice. We do not claim that the GDPR or any other foreign framework applies to every visitor. If you contact us from a jurisdiction with additional rights, tell us and we will consider your request in good faith.

6. When we share information

  • With the assigned tattoo artist and authorized studio personnel who need it to serve you.
  • With service providers that operate our platform: database and hosting (Supabase), transactional email (Resend), website hosting, storage, analytics where used, and payment processors if and when online payment is offered.
  • With professional advisors, insurers or authorities when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
  • In connection with a business transfer, if the studio is ever sold or reorganized, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

7. Artist and admin portals

Our staff portals use individual accounts and role-based access. Artists see the clients and appointments assigned to them; administrators see studio-wide operations. Internal records — appointments, notes, files, payments and audit logs — are never public.

8. Cookies and local storage

The website currently uses only necessary browser storage: your selected language, a saved draft of the booking form on your own device, and the secure session used by staff to sign in. We do not operate advertising cookies. Non-essential analytics are off by default: a banner asks you to accept or decline before any optional analytics is loaded, your choice is stored on your device, and declining means no analytics tag is ever loaded.

You can clear or block browser storage at any time in your browser settings; some features, such as saved form drafts and staff sign-in, will stop working. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s stored data in your browser, which makes the cookie banner appear again.

9. How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we reasonably need it: to manage your appointment and follow-ups, to maintain accounting and tax records, to handle disputes or legal obligations, and to keep security logs. Records that are no longer needed for these purposes are deleted or de-identified during routine review. We do not promise a fixed deletion date that our systems do not automatically enforce.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards: encrypted connections, individual staff accounts with role-based permissions, database row-level security rules, private file storage with time-limited signed links for reference images, and internal audit logging of sensitive actions.

No website, database or transmission method is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you send information to us at your own discretion.

11. Your choices and requests

  • Ask what information we hold about you and request a copy.
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
  • Ask us to delete information where deletion is legally available.
  • Opt out of marketing at any time using the link in the message or by emailing us.

Some records cannot be deleted on request — for example payment and deposit records, health or consent forms, and documents we must keep for accounting, insurance, safety or legal reasons. We will explain what we can and cannot do.

Send requests to lionsdesign.llc@gmail.com or to our studio address below.

12. Children and minors

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 sent us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Tattoo appointments generally require the client to be 18 or older. Any exception depends on applicable Texas law and studio approval, and we make no promise of service to minors.

13. Third-party links and social media

Our site and profiles link to third-party platforms such as Instagram, Google Maps and messaging apps. Those platforms have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. Review their policies before sharing information there.

14. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy as the studio, its tools or the law change. The version date at the top of the page shows the current version, and continued use of the website after an update means you accept it.
